To ensure a relaxed and enjoyable evening for all guests, we've decided to make our wedding an adults-only event, with the exception of children in our immediate family.

Friday Night: Outside. It will be warm in the day but when the sun goes down, you will definitely want a jacket! Saturday: Our wedding ceremony and cocktail reception is outside but we will be indoors for dinner.

Driving: For our Bay Area friends, the drive is about 5 hours. For our San Diego folks, it's about 6 hours. Flying: The closest airport is Santa Barbara Airport (SBA) located 40 minutes driving from the venue. You can easily find a taxi, uber, or shuttle to Solvang.

We hope you can come enjoy the area! Santa Barbara and the Santa Ynez Valley has so much to offer like surfing, hiking, wine country, botanical gardens, etc. The formal wedding events start the evening of November 14th but we encourage you to get there early and enjoy the ranch. You can check into the Alisal as early as 9am on Friday, November 14. We will also organize a horse ride at the ranch on Friday during the day. We recommend staying somewhere nearby on Thursday evening so you can get to the ranch early on Friday.
